Yingying And Malcolm
A serial entrepreneur toiling over the past decade both in China and Singapore, Yingying’s focus has now turned towards Fabrique. Helping others find their better halves has become a mission for Yingying and hence Fabrique.
Weaving the fabric of love not just for others, Yingying is a proud mother of two very boisterous children and doting owner of two even more adventurous canines. Needless to say, weekends are nothing less than sunshine, sand and scuttling around. If there’s ever a need for a listening ear on Singaporean motherhood, you know where to find her.
Speaking of better halves…
Malcolm spends most of his time thinking of the future when not wrestling with the four kiddos. Born and bred in Singapore, Malcolm spent his quieter years in The Chinese High School and Hwa Chong before serving his dues (and still serving, yes sir) as a Combat Engineer in the Armed Forces. It was only a matter of time with prolonged exposure to explosives and detonators before he went slightly off tangent at the London School of Economics, graduating with a First Class Honours in Economics. He remains a (forever) grateful recipient of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) overseas scholarship, and having spent some wild years in finance and commodities portfolio management in MAS and the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), he also ran the commodities trading desk for our friendly northern neighbours at CIMB Bank. Fabrique has become his way of giving back and helping others find their better halves too.
